Hallelujah!

Weil wenn ja, dann hält man daran fest, egal was kommt.

So, I thought about how easy it is to loose the perspective and be overwhelmed by bad new last night and this morning. I thought about the fact if God really spoke to us about the house that we live in. Because if yes, then you hold on to that no matter what may come.
But if we misunderstood him, then we would have to trust that he has something better for us. In any case, He will provide.

Yesterday I was overwhelmed because I thought about packing, and moving and looking for a new place to live and doing all this while we still have enough programms running.
But at some point I felt convicted about my negative thoughts and asked God for forgiveness. I had forgotten again that He takes care of us and that not the last word has been spoken. When I wrote yesterday's blog, it was the start of renewing my mind and it ended into giving thanks and praise! I don't have to worry, God will make a way.

Well, when we got another call from the house owner, I wasn't too surprised hearing that the interested buyer had changed his mind. Not surprised but still very grateful. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord! Please pray for Greg, the house owner. Either that he gets someone to buy the house when we have found something else, or that we get the money or that he gets the money he needs from somewhere else.

So, to give you somewhat of a clue: These are the towns that we have to go through on the way to Mt Isa:
Charters Towers, Hughenden, Richmond, Julia Creek, Cloncurry

Emergency Management Queensland (EMQ) says some of the flooding in the state's north-west is beginning to ease.
Heavy rain over the past few days have seen floodwaters cut off several towns including Julia Creek, Doomadgee and Mt Isa, with rain expected to continue throughout the night.
But the Mt Isa EMQ Area Commander Elliott Dunn says in some places the flood levels are starting to drop.

"We've seen a decrease in the rain around Mt Isa, and we're starting to see the waters recede quite quickly," he said.
"At the moment Julia Creek is still cut off in all directions, but we're expecting that to go down within the next 24 to 36 hours."
Cloncurry Mayor Andrew Daniels says locals are welcoming the rain.
For the time being everyone's just very happy to see the rain," he said.
Acting Premier Paul Lucas agrees it is a reversal of fortune for Cloncurry.
"They've now got a situation where water is overflowing over the top of the dam," he said.
Motorists are being urged to stay off flooded roadways and avoid travelling west of Richmond.
