Noch eine Woche... / One more week....

****english version below****

Also ich lass mich überraschen.

Danke.

...and we are going camping. I won't be reachable for two weeks and so you won't really see a lot on this blog. We will go to a new campsite that I don't know yet. Therefore I don't really know how it is going to look like myself. On my DTS we went camping in the middle of the rainforest but I don't think that won't be like that this time. So it will be a surprise. I only know that we will have cold bucket showers that have to be filled up after each shower. And holes will be dug to be able to go to the bathroom. How all this will look like, I don't know. It will be somewhat interesting, at least for us Germans it's a different kind of camping. Please pray that I will be able to handle everything (out of the comfort zone) so that I can also be an example and an encouragement to the students. And of course it would be good if we wouldn't meet a lot of Australian animals (at least the ones that we DON'T want to meet).

So why are we going camping? First of all it creates unity within the DTS. At the moment the school is split up in 3 houses. So you know the people from your own house very well but not so much from the other houses.
Well, all this changes during camping. You don't have so many distractions like here in Townsville but all of us do something together. And you are stuck in the middle of nowhere. You just have to get to know each other better. It is also a place where you can spend great times with God. Just because there aren't any distractions and God is speaking differently to you in nature. The worship times are just awesome under the sky, especially at night. It is one of the best time on the DTS.

We will hear about relationships, Christian disciplines and lordship. It will be intense weeks. I still have to prepare a lot for those weeks camping. Please pray that I can organise all and that everything works out smoothly. Thank you.
